1. Purpose & Scope

This Privacy Policy outlines how the Board of Investment (BOI), Prime Minister's Office, Government of Pakistan, collects, processes, protects, and governs employee operational records, attendance timestamps, biometric tokens, and leave documentation. This policy applies to all active civil officers, contractual personnel, interns, and authorized portal administrators across all directorates.

2. Information We Collect

In order to provide secure workforce operations, the portal processes:

• Account Identifiers: Official government email address, full name, employee designation, and assigned directorate.
• Attendance & Telemetry: Punch-in and punch-out timestamps, daily worked durations, and geofence boundary coordinates within Sector G-5/1 HQ.
• Leave & Duty Records: Applied leave categories, approval history, medical attachments, and official supervisor remarks.
• Security & Audit Logs: Cryptographic session tokens, device IP addresses, and authentication failure telemetry.

3. Data Protection & Cryptographic Security

All employee communications, OTP codes, and authentication cookies are encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS cryptographic tunnels. Password hashes are stored using salted cryptographic one-way hashing algorithms. Biometric verification tokens are tokenized and never stored as raw visual imagery.

4. Data Retention & Access Rights

Attendance logs and timesheets are archived in compliance with National Information Technology Board (NITB) retention schedules and federal civil service archiving guidelines. Employees have the right to view their historical monthly timesheets, request attendance dispute rectifications, and update emergency contact details through their designated Director or HR Wing.
